Position Purpose: Supervise and monitor the performance of Quality Improvement Associates who support all Retention activities to ensure that members receive accurate information and that the standard operating procedures and quality assurance standards are met. Manage the production of the Quality Improvement Associates ensuring effective skill assessment of new and existing staff and to facilitate training to address the gaps identified. Research and use best practices to achieve effective project implementation and outcomes. Investigate exploitation of infrastructure tools to optimize productivity and performance. Collect, analyze, and summarize data to prepare reports and make recommendations.

  • Supervise a team of Quality Improvement Associates to meet monthly audit performance metrics.
  • Investigate exploitation of infrastructure tools to optimize productivity and performance.
  • Follow organization standards to maintain quality service. Identify obstacles in the call handling process and effectively prevent, resolve and overcome those obstacles.
  • Collect, analyze, and summarize data to prepare reports and make recommendations. Research and use best practices to achieve effective project implementation and outcomes.
  • Identify the training needing to improve performance and provide assistance to Retention Management to ensure consistent levels of service.
  • Strong knowledge of Managed Care and Health Insurance concepts and regulation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Access; Lotus Notes; Internet.
  • Knowledge of various quality programs, including measures associated with QARR and HEDIS.
  • Ability to lead or coordinate projects within own department.
  • Managing diverse staff; execute corporate function effectively; ability to communicate professionally and with cultural sensitivity.
  • Business Analysis Knowledge: Skilled to work in a fast paced environment. Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Customer Service: Skilled to communicate with all levels of Management, internal and external customers.
  • Ability to work well as a member of a team or alone.
  • Effective Business Communication: Skilled in communicating with technical and business constituencies in writing effective business specifications and requirements.

Must reside in GA

Field based position

Education/Experience: AA/AS - Associates Degree or equivalent required. One to two years managed care experience required; knowledge of the industry and terminology. One to three years Supervisory experience preferred. One to two years related experience required.

Pay Range: $68,700.00 - $123,700.00 per year

Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.  Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.
