In this role you will be responsible for onsite qualification of parts, in Turbocharging parts supply in South India, working as resident engineer at Coimbatore region, ensuring quality of parts supplied.
Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will perform onsite inspection of parts and clearance of the same
Your responsibilities
- Schedule, monitor and approve supplier part, material . Execute SPAP. Perform required process surveillance at Supplier Manufacturing Site.
- Operationally lead and fast execute upcoming supply issues like quality issues, late deliveries, non-conforming products
- For any issue with likely root cause supplier, prepare a claims case for the responsible buyer.
- Resolving critical problems of suppliers (supplier quality) as required by SCM, Engineering, Quality.
- Proposing measures based on quality and process measurements.
- Identifying improvements of supplier base capabilities and performance to ensure conformance with Customer and Accelleron
- Requirements by using Lean6Sigma and risk-based methodologies.
- Performing supplier improvement projects (L6S)
Your background
- Bachelor‘s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of various Quality tools.
- Measurement Tools exposure and experience.
- Foundry and Machining experience.
- Supplier quality process control knowledge.
- Willingness to travel.
- Strong communication skills.
- Previous experience in Lean Management.
- Project Management Skills
