Supply Planning Analyst-Sourced Goods

Job Summary

The Supply Planning Analyst-Sourced Goods is responsible for planning and releasing purchase requisitions for assigned product categories to support to the fullest our customer demands and balance to correct inventory levels at the style/color/size level.  The estimated volume this position will analyze and plan is between 2-10 million units annually.  They communicate directly with Kontoor sourcing offices when issues arise that may disrupt the production flow and work to resolve the disruptions to ensure delays are avoided.  They are responsible for reporting out on the health of their key styles regarding projected fill rates, inventory levels, and on time deliveries for new programs/styles.   

Responsibilities

  • Ensure fabric is purchased and purchase requisitions are released each month to achieve target inventory levels and fill rates, as well as on time delivery for styles/store load ins.
  • Able to run and analyze net position reports.  Utilize Logility, Power BI, SAP, & NGC to proactively analyze style and SKU health.  Call out any concerns to Lead Supply Planning Analyst and/or Manager.
  • Troubleshoot when styles aren't planning correctly to root cause and correct issues.
  • Facilitate new style set ups and prepack information.  Ensure info is passed to sourcing and the vendors in a timely manner to achieve on time delivery.
  • Manage PRs/POs as necessary to achieve targeted inventory levels and fill rates including sizing of POs on time and requesting resizing, cancellation, pushouts or expediting.
  • Attend weekly meetings as needed and communicate with business partners & regional sourcing offices in a timely manner on any issues that could potentially impact deliveries.

Experience

  • Exposure or experience working in a manufacturing or procurement environment is strongly preferred
  • >0,<1 years of experience working in a corporate environment in an internship or entry level role

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, a related field, or equivalent experience

Skills

  • Strong ability to analyze and problem solve within systems.
  • Strong excel skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to balance and prioritize constantly changing demands and requirements
