Job Description
1. Raw Material & Packaging Material Planning:• Ensure timely availability of raw materials and packaging materials for co-packing operations.• Work with suppliers and procurement teams to manage material lead times and deliveries.• Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
2. Finished Goods Planning & Inventory Management:• Develop production and supply plans to meet co-packing demand.• Ensure finished goods inventory aligns with customer orders and market demand.• Track stock levels and optimize warehouse space to reduce carrying costs.
3. Co-Packer Coordination:• Collaborate with co-packers to align production schedules with material availability.• Communicate forecasts and inventory needs to ensure smooth operations.• Address any supply chain disruptions affecting co-packing efficiency.
4. Supply Chain & Logistics Alignment:• Work with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished goods.• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to support seamless production and distribution.
5. Process Improvement & Reporting:• Analyze supply chain performance and identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency gains.• Generate reports on material consumption, inventory turnover, and production efficiency.
