**Job Title:** IT Service Managament Analyst II

**Location:** Bengaluru

Job Description:

Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a Systems Analyst II to join our world-class Information Technology team. This role is pivotal in ensuring flawless IT service delivery and optimizing our systems to meet ambitious organizational goals. You will play an integral part in our mission to support scientific advancements and make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

Key Responsibilities:Incident Management:

  • Serve as the main contact for incident management, ensuring incidents are identified, logged, and resolved in a timely manner to minimize impact on business operations.
  • Analyze incident data to identify trends and potential issues, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and third-party vendors to resolve incidents efficiently.
  • Maintain comprehensive incident records and provide regular status updates to partners.

Change Management:

  • Guide the process of handling change requests, ensuring accurate assessment, approval, and documentation of all changes.
  • Ensure changes are implemented efficiently with minimal disruption to services and alignment to organizational policies.

Problem Management:

  • Lead root cause analysis efforts for major incidents and recurring problems to identify underlying issues.
  • Develop and implement problem management strategies to prevent future incidents.
  • Maintain a problem register and track the progress of problem resolution activities.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to develop and deploy permanent solutions.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain IT service management documentation, including policies, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Offer training and support to IT staff on incident, change, and problem management processes.
  • Generate and analyze reports to assess the performance and efficiency of IT service management activities.
  • Continuously improve IT service management processes to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability in IT service management with a focus on incident, change, and problem management.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Capability to work independently and manage diverse tasks in a fast-paced setting.
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow ITSM Module.
  • Experience in software strategy and operations is a plus.
