About our Team: 

You will be joining a collaborative team midway through our multi-year DevOps journey. We partner with Digital Business Solutions development teams and underpin their success through engineering and operational best practices. We deliver reliable and resilient AWS infrastructure and are expanding our automated CI/CD delivery pipelines to empower the developers we collaborate with. 

About the Role: 

You will have the chance to shape the next phase of our Enterprise infrastructure transformation. Working at scale with the latest DevOps tools, you will build infrastructure that supports our applications and seek opportunities for automation and improvement. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Deploying and supporting cloud-based solutions to meet business and compliance requirements 

  • Developing and improving infrastructure automation 

  • Designing, developing, releasing, and deploying AWS infrastructure and applications using CI/CD 

  • Collaborating with Development teams and other DevOps engineers using an Agile framework 

  • Seeking and implementing efficiencies to reduce non-productive tasks and allow more focus on project work and lasting improvements 

Requirements: 

  • Experience in 24x7 operational support of cloud-based services 

  • Familiarity with modern software delivery techniques such as Agile, CI/CD, GIT, Jira 

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot both independently and as part of a team 

  • A proactive approach to learning and development
