Job Description:

  • Job Summary

    The Systems Engineer is responsible for supporting and maintaining the company’s end-user computing environment. This includes installing, configuring, and troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, and related systems while ensuring compliance with IT standards and security policies. The role provides Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to users and collaborates with network and systems teams to ensure stable and secure operations.

    Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and support desktops, laptops, printers, and other end-user devices.

  • Perform software installations, updates, and patch management across user systems.

  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for on-site and remote users.

  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and policies through Active Directory and Office 365.

  • Assist in deploying standard desktop images and maintaining compliance with IT policies.

  • Ensure endpoint security through antivirus, encryption, and update compliance.

  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for user incidents and escalate complex issues as needed.

  • Maintain accurate asset inventory and ensure proper tracking of IT equipment.

  • Collaborate with network and systems teams to resolve connectivity and performance issues.

  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including hardware setup and access provisioning.

Qualifications

2–4 years of IT or systems support experience.

Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office 365.

Hands-on experience with Active Directory administration.

Familiarity with endpoint management and patching tools.

Understanding of basic networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi-Fi).

Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft-related credentials preferred.
