Talent Acquisition Data Analyst, Assurant-India

Talent Acquisition is hiring a Data Analyst evolve our TA Data Architecture and lead our function towards a data-driven and insight-led culture.  This role will be focused on building, managing and delivering comprehensive analysis of recruiting metrics along with insights to drive results. The Data Analyst serves as a subject matter expert in strategic initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for new solutions to enhance recruiting effectiveness and drive business value.  This role will deliver consistent, actionable information and insights driving consistency, standardization, automation and reusability of data model solutions, reports and analytical products.

This position will be Hybrid Working at Hyderabad location.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

(45%) Implement and optimize analysis and data architecture for TA. Develop reports and create processes and analytical solutions through by leveraging tools and proven methodology while using storytelling to drive business thinking. Analyze data/reporting each month to identify and provide trends, opportunities and insights to Talent Acquisition leaders.

  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Business, Data Analytics & IT teams to  go from problem statement to analytics solutions.
  • Develop benchmark and data-driven insights and deliver trends and metrics.
  • Create custom Workday Recruiting reports, including calculated fields and complex solutions to business requests.
  • Identify and analyze forecast trends and assess future trends in markets and similar industries.
  • Deliver analysis of recruiting data, including dashboard recruiting metrics such as conversion rates, time-to-fill, candidate generations, and requisition alignment.

(30%) Participate with an analytical approach to strategy and projects. Collect requirements from stakeholders and leverage knowledge of the key components and relationships of People and TA tech stack data. Transform data into solution designs for effective reporting.

  • Assist in requirements analysis and solution design for approved projects and change requests.
  • Prepare and contribute toward the preparation of project.
  • Foster and sustain open communication with users and stakeholders.
  • Provide training and/or adoption efforts as needed.

(25%) Ensure supported reports, dashboards and data are current, available and efficient.

  • Proactively identify and recommend ongoing improvement to data reporting processes to enhance the accuracy and breadth of data available for analysis and reporting, and then work collaboratively with HR and IT to implement approved recommendations.
  • Lead data cleaning, consistency, update and correction efforts.
  • Perform data validation exercises with users.
  • Support governance efforts and perform pro-active and as requested audits or reviews.

What are the requirements needed for this position? 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Business, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in the fields of People analytics and reporting.
  • Minimum of 1+ years of experience with Talent Acquisition data and Workday Recruiting report writing.
  • Understanding of recruitment process and key Talent Acquisition metrics.
  • Understanding of Talent Acquisition technology stacks (ATS, CRM, AI, Assessments, etc) and associated reporting and analytics.
  • Experienced in analyzing data and make strong recommendations based on findings. Profound in effective and compelling communication to technical and non-technical departments.

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have? 

  • Experienced in visualization techniques, and story telling with data.
  • Designing highly automated descriptive analytics/reporting solutions, building, integrating, and managing databases, creating data models, especially within the PowerBI stack.
  • Continuous learner, curiosity and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks with shifting deadlines and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
