Position: Manager/ Associate Manager  - Talent Acquisition

Athena is India's largest institution in the "premium undergraduate study abroad" space.  Founded 10 years ago by two Princeton graduates, Poshak Agrawal and Rahul Subramaniam, Athena is headquartered in Gurgaon,with offices in Mumbai and Bangalore, and caters to students from 21 countries.

The role of a Senior Associate/ Associate - Consulting is to mentor and support top high school students from around the world get into  their dream universities across the US, UK, and Canada. Leveraging our robust program, you will help students strategize their profiles to craft compelling and successful college applications.

Role Overview:
As a Talent Acquisition Manager, you will be at the forefront of building Athena’s world-class team. You will lead the recruitment efforts across multiple functions and locations, ensuring Athena continues to attract, hire, and retain the best talent in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Recruitment Planning:

    • Understand Athena's hiring needs across departments and develop robust strategies to source and attract top-tier talent.
    • Build a strong talent pipeline to ensure readiness for current and future hiring demands.

End-to-End Recruitment Process:

    • Create and post compelling job descriptions that reflect Athena's brand and values.
    • Source candidates through job boards, social media, professional networks, campus drives, and industry events.
    • Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and manage assessment stages effectively.
    • Oversee the entire interview process, including stakeholder coordination and candidate feedback.

Employer Branding:

    • Strengthen Athena’s position as an employer of choice by driving branding initiatives.
    • Partner with universities, career fairs, and professional networks to enhance visibility and engagement.

Candidate Experience Management:

    • Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience at all stages of the recruitment process.
    • Gather feedback from candidates to continuously improve processes.

Data-Driven Recruitment:

    • Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics to optimize efficiency and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
    • Provide detailed reports and insights to leadership on hiring trends and outcomes.

Key Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong strategic planning and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Knowledge of the education or consulting industry is a plus.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree from a top-tier institution.
  • 2–5 years of experience in talent acquisition, preferably in education, consulting, or a startup environment.
  • Proven track record of hiring for diverse roles and levels.
