About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Technical Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) and SAP PI/PO to design, build, and support enterprise integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in SAP integration technologies and a proven track record of delivering cloud-based integration projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement integration scenarios using SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration)
- Support and enhance existing interfaces built on SAP PI/PO
- Analyze integration requirements and translate them into technical design specifications (iFlows, mappings, adapters)
- Configure and manage various CPI adapters (SFTP, IDoc, SOAP, REST, OData, JMS, Mail, etc.)
- Develop message mappings, routing, and transformation logic using Groovy scripts/XSLT within CPI
- Migrate existing PI/PO interfaces to CPI where required, ensuring minimal disruption to business processes
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve integration issues; perform root-cause analysis for production incidents
- Collaborate with functional consultants, application owners, and third-party vendors to ensure seamless end-to-end integration
- Ensure integration solutions follow security, governance, and performance best practices
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation (interface specifications, design documents, test cases)
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of overall IT experience in SAP integration technologies
- 5–6 years of dedicated, hands-on experience in SAP CPI
- Strong working knowledge of SAP PI/PO (design, configuration, and support)
- Proficiency in building iFlows, message mappings, and configuring various adapters in CPI
- Hands-on experience with Groovy scripting/XSLT for custom mapping logic
- Good understanding of SAP integration architecture, security artifacts, and certificates
- Experience in interface monitoring, error handling, and performance optimization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills for client-facing and cross-functional collaboration
Good to Have
- Experience with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) landscape
- Exposure to API Management on SAP CPI
- Experience integrating with non-SAP/third-party systems (ESB, MuleSoft, DataPower, etc.)
- Prior experience in Automotive, BFSI, or Aviation domains
- SAP CPI/PI certification (added advantage)
