Technical Project Manager (Agile, SDLC, Process Improvement)
Software Requirements:
- Familiarity with Agile/SAFe/Lean methodologies
- Understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) standards
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies
Overall Responsibilities:
- Drive execution on defined projects or tasks in low to medium-complexity environments
- Work within and across teams to track risks and impediments to project delivery and escalate accordingly
- Facilitate technical conversations (e.g., relating to architectural approach and system design) and document solutions
- Liaise with product and engineering teams to build implementation roadmaps
- Provide and consolidate inputs for leadership updates on delivery status and key decisions needed to support project delivery
- Identify and articulate opportunities for improvements to the delivery process; assist relevant teams in redesigning process flows
- Track relevant OKRs/KPIs
- Participate in PI planning meetings and other Agile ceremonies to pressure test plans for feasibility, capacity, and risk
- Facilitate and support coordination, collaboration, and alignment between Product Owners, Architects, and Engineers to meet regulatory and technical requirements
- Monitor and ensure compliance with SDLC standards
- Plan and facilitate change management and release management activities
- Identify inter-team technical dependencies and gaps in technical management
- Follow and instill documentation best practices to ensure designs meet requirements
- Drive technical and regulatory consistency across workstreams; contribute documentation to ensure ongoing maintenance and development of technical and regulatory solutions
Technical Skills (Category-wise):
Project Management:
- Experience with Agile/SAFe/Lean methodologies
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies
- Certifications in project management methodologies (a plus)
Technical Understanding:
- Understanding of SDLC standards
- Ability to facilitate technical conversations and document solutions
- Knowledge of architectural approaches and system design
Process Improvement:
- Ability to identify and articulate opportunities for process improvements
- Experience in redesigning process flows
Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent work experience required
- 12+ years experience in program delivery or project management
- Experience with Agile/SAFe/Lean methodologies is a plus
Day-to-Day Activities:
