- Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Technical Project Manager to lead and deliver projects in data engineering and analytics.
- You will manage cross-functional teams to execute data platform, pipeline, and analytics initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and timely delivery.
- Key Responsibilities: Plan, execute, and deliver technical projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Strong understanding of data pipelines, ETL/ELT, and analytics workflows.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, QA, and operations teams to define project requirements and success metrics.
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks).
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Track project progress using tools like Jira, Confluence, and report status to stakeholders.
- Proactively identify and resolve project blockers and dependencies.
- Ensure all technical documentation is current and aligned with project goals.
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Manage third-party vendors or external contractors when applicable.
- Advocate for continuous improvement in processes, tools, and team efficiency.
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in project management within a technical environment.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or Waterfall). Proficient with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
