Global Spares Supply (GSS) provides all the spares, tools and field support that are needed to perform maintenance that exceeds our customer's expectations. Cost effectively and on-time.

  • Quality spare parts for Elevators, Escalators and Automatic Building Doors
  • KONE parts, commercial parts, strategic parts & competitor parts
  • Tools, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and working clothes
  • Supply Chain solutions and delivery management.
3.Why this role?

We are seeking this role to provide technical assistance to field teams and support on the lifecycle of elevator, escalator, and building door products. This role combines hands-on technical knowledge with digital tools and data management to drive efficiency, ensure material data quality, and deliver high-quality spare technical solutions across global operations.

4.What will you be doing?
  • Provide spares technical support to service technicians / frontlines.
  • Identify and suggest material replacements, ensuring quality and safety.
  • Support frontlines in material identification based on products & services.
  • Request For Quotations (RFQ) on new materials and existing offerings.
  • To handle quality feedback and non-conformities, providing feasible solutions.
  • Manage engineering change requests and coordinate with R&D teams.
     
5.Required Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of SAP, PDM/PLM systems, and BOM interpretation
  • Familiarity with Elevator, Escalator and Building Door products
  • Proficiency in O365, SharePoint, and engineering drawing tools
  • Effective communication in English and ability to work independently
  • Understanding of supply chain, materials and master data.
6.Preferred Skills:
  • Hands-on design experience with Creo, AutoCAD, ProgeCAD
  • Field experience in installation and commissioning
  • Experience with VariPDM, Adobe tools, and technical documentation
  • MS Excel Macros and SQL knowledge are added advantages.
     
7.Are you the one?
  • Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics
  • 1 to 7 years of relevant experience
  • Technically detail-oriented, and solution-focused
  • Capable of working in a cross-functional, global team environment
  • Self-driven, adaptable, and proactive in solving technical challenges
