Job Description: Wati is looking for an experienced Technical Writer to join our dynamic team. As a Technical Writer, you will play a key role in creating and maintaining high-quality documentation that enhances the user experience and ensures customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Research and write documents such as user manuals, release notes, training manuals, technical notes, troubleshooting guides, Help docs, API documentation, FAQs, and online help.
- Create, proofread, and edit documentation to ensure consistency of language and style, as well as the correct application of templates.
- Work with the Head of Support to build the internal knowledge base and maintain the Help docs.
- Collaborate with development teams, SMEs, product managers, and business heads to develop, write, and maintain end-user/system administration documentation.
- Keep all assigned documentation components up-to-date, while meeting high-quality standards.
- Coordinate and collaborate with Support, development, QA, marketing, Customer Success, and related groups through the product-lifecycle process to collect information, meet requirements, and document.
- Professionally and consistently self-edit your own work and assist in editing the work of other team members when necessary.
- Meet requirements for speed, deadlines, and methodology.
- Good to have skills in instructional design and building Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- 4+ years of experience in technical writing.
- Proven experience in writing user manuals, release notes, training manuals, technical notes, troubleshooting guides, Help docs, API documentation, FAQs, and online help.
- Strong proofreading and editing skills to ensure consistency of language and style.
- Experience working with development teams, SMEs, product managers, and business heads.
- Ability to keep documentation components up-to-date while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent coordination and collaboration skills with various teams throughout the product-lifecycle process.
- Strong self-editing skills and the ability to assist in editing the work of other team members.
- Ability to meet requirements for speed, deadlines, and methodology.
- Knowledge of instructional design and experience in building Learning Management Systems (LMS) is a plus.
