Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Writer to create clear, concise, and informative documentation for our technical products and services. In this role, you will work closely with engineers, developers, and other subject matter experts to gather information, organize content, and produce high-quality documentation that meets the needs of our users. The ideal candidate possesses excellent writing and communication skills, a strong grasp of technical concepts, and the ability to translate complex information into easily understandable language.
Responsibilities:

• Research and Information Gathering: Conduct thorough research, including interviewing subject matter experts, analyzing code, and reviewing product specifications, to gather accurate and up-to-date technical information.

• Content Development: Organize and structure technical information into clear and logical documents, such as user guides, manuals, tutorials, API documentation, and knowledge base articles.

• Writing and Editing: Write clear, concise, and grammatically correct technical content that is tailored to the target audience and adheres to established style guidelines.

• Document Formatting: Format documents according to established templates and standards, ensuring a professional and visually appealing presentation.

• Illustrations and Diagrams: Create or collaborate with graphic designers to develop illustrations and diagrams that enhance understanding of technical concepts.

• Proofreading and Quality Assurance: Conduct meticulous proofreading and quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of technical documentation.

• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and marketing, to ensure documentation aligns with product development and release cycles.

• Version Control: Maintain version control of documents, ensuring that the most up-to-date versions are readily available and accessible to users.
   

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Experience: 5 years of experience in technical writing or a related field, preferably with experience documenting software products or technical processes.

• Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong grasp of grammar, punctuation, and style.

  • Ability to quickly learn and understand complex technical concepts.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar tools.

  • Experience with document management systems, version control tools, and authoring tools (e.g., MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker) is a plus.
