Title: Technical WriterType of Work: Full-timeLocation: IndiaReports to: Senior Manager, Tech DocumentationAbout the RoleAs a Technical Writer, you will collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and the UX team in an Agile environment to create documentation for critical software solutions and services tailored for terminals, vessels, carriers, and inland freight operators.Responsibilities
  • Write clear, concise, and easy-to-understand release notes, user manuals and installation guides.
  • Create, maintain, and improve the API reference documentation
  • Work closely with development teams, product managers, and subject matter experts to gather technical information
  • Provide UI text (tooltips, labels, error messages, etc.) to our UX and engineering teams
  • Collaborate with our team of writers to develop creative solutions for communicating complex content.
Requirements
  • 2 - 4 years of experience in writing technical documentation
  • Strong technical aptitude, ability to analyze and research technical concepts
  • Experience in writing release notes, creating and updating user guides and technical documentation
  • Experience with MadCap Flare, Swagger Editor, and Microsoft GitHub.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong command of English
  • A strong sense of ownership and results-oriented approach to work
A plus:
  • Experience with either supply chain management or marine terminal operations
  • Exposure to API documentation processes
  • Experience working with internal sources such as Salesforce, JIRA, and Confluence
  • Working knowledge of content-development life cycle and AGILE processes
