Job Summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated Technical Writer to join our Digital Business Unit team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing high-quality technical documentation and enablement resources that ensure the success of our implementation projects and help customers unlock the full potential of our products.

You will be part of the Global Product Platform & Technology team, a group dedicated to bridging the physical and digital worlds by creating exceptional customer experiences.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Responsibility 1: Develop and maintain clear, concise technical documentation and Help Center resources, translating complex Software as a Service (SaaS) concepts into accessible content for end-users and developers.

  • Responsibility 2: Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), including engineers and product managers, to gather technical insights and ensure documentation accuracy across the product development lifecycle.

  • Responsibility 3: Ensure compliance with established style guides and organizational standards by conducting regular audits of existing content to align with the latest User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) changes.

What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2–5 years of experience in technical writing within a Software as a Service (SaaS) or Platform as a Service (PaaS) environment.

  • Strong knowledge of documentation principles, information architecture, and markup languages such as XML, HTML, or CSS.

  • Proven ability in audience analysis and stakeholder management to tailor complex information for diverse technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Writing, Technical Communication, or a related field.
