Lead technical and functional solutioning for Asset Finance systems: design integrations, data migrations, APIs, and data models; run client workshops, define architecture and configuration, validate finance workflows, advise on tradeoffs, mentor junior consultants, and support delivery governance.
Primary Responsibilities (Technical + Solutioning Hybrid)
Technical Leadership
- Architect and implement advanced system configurations for Asset Finance solutions.
- Design and develop complex integrations, APIs, extensions, and data models.
- Lead technical troubleshooting, performance optimization, and environmental readiness.
- Oversee data migration approach, validation strategy, and cutover execution.
Functional & Consulting Responsibilities
- Lead requirement‑gathering workshops with clients and translating needs into functional + technical designs.
- Define solution scope, system architecture, and configuration strategy.
- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Validate business processes such as quote‑to‑contract, in‑life servicing, and accounting flows.
- Provide guidance on best practices, domain standards, and product capabilities.
- Support project managers in planning, risk management, and solution delivery governance.
Solutioning & Advisory Mindset
- Recommend approaches that balance configuration vs customization.
- Identify gaps, create solution options, and present impact assessments to clients.
- Contribute to design authority discussions and ensure solution alignment.
- Mentor junior consultants on functional and technical topics.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong technical background with expertise in Asset Finance systems.
- Advanced SQL, data modeling, ETL migration, and interface development experience.
- Deep knowledge of asset finance domains, including Assets & Residual Value Management, Asset Finance accounting fundamentals, Auto-Leasing and Equipment Finance Concepts, Hire Purchase & loan structures, In-Life contract servicing, Quote to contract lifecycle.
- Proven experience in designing integrations using APIs, XML, web services.
- Strong functional understanding of business workflows and finance operations.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and client‑facing consulting skills.
- May have to work in different time zone shifts to overlap with client working hours
- Experience: 1-12 years
