Technology Engineer - Redis & Streaming Platforms

The Technology Engineer will design and manage Redis clusters, configure Apache Kafka, build CI/CD pipelines, and ensure high availability in cloud-native environments.
We are looking for a highly skilled Technology Engineer with strong expertise in Redis, Kafka, and Cloud-native platforms to join the Technology Engineering team at ENBD. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, managing, and scaling high-performance data platforms and streaming architectures in a cloud-native environment.
RequirementsKey Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage Redis (Enterprise & Open Source) clusters for high availability and performance.
- Set up and configure Apache Kafka for high-throughput, low-latency data streaming use cases.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, ArgoCD, and Git-based workflows.
- Deploy and manage applications on OpenShift / Kubernetes platforms.
- Work with large-scale streaming datasets and ensure optimal data flow and processing.
- Implement and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and OCI environments.
- Drive automation using cloud-native toolsets and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Contribute to event-driven architecture and microservices-based system design.
- Apply best practices in GitOps, DevOps, and platform engineering.
- Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance through monitoring and optimization.
- Strong hands-on experience with Redis (RTS preferred) cluster setup and administration.
- Proven experience with Apache Kafka in high-throughput production environments.
- Expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, ArgoCD, Git).
- Hands-on experience with OpenShift / Kubernetes container platforms.
- Exposure to Public Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, and/or Oracle Cloud (OCI).
- Strong understanding of event-driven and streaming architectures.
- Experience working with large-scale distributed systems and data platforms.
- Familiarity with GitOps practices and cloud automation tools.
- Good knowledge of software design patterns and their practical implementation.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
- Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
- Exposure to banking or financial services domain
- 4+ years of relevant experience in platform engineering / data engineering / DevOps
