NorthBay Solutions is seeking a highly experienced and innovative Technology Lead – GenAI to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a senior technologist with a deep understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, and other advanced AI/ML technologies. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical leadership, hands-on expertise, and a passion for delivering transformative AI-driven solutions.
Requirements- Minimum 12 years of professional experience in software engineering, with 8+ years specifically in AI/ML leadership.
- Hands-on expertise in Generative AI, including:
- Agentic AI, Multi-Agent Systems, Agentic RAG
- Langraph, Ontology-based Knowledge Graphs
- LLM fine-tuning (e.g., GPT, BERT) and Prompt Engineering (e.g., Chain-of-Thought)
- Strong experience with:
- Vector Databases, LangChain, Vector Embeddings
- Foundation model training, Human-in-the-loop feedback
- Multi-modal AI, NLP, Text Classification, Computer Vision
- Proficient in Python, Jupyter Notebooks, and libraries like NumPy, pandas, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face
- Practical experience with AWS ML Services, including:
- SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda, Cognito, CloudWatch, API Gateway, RDS (PostgreSQL)
- Knowledge of Vibe Coding techniques (AI-generated code from natural language prompts)
- Proven track record of delivering 5+ successful AI/ML projects, particularly in foundation models and multi-modal systems
- Strong leadership and mentoring experience in Agile environments
- Excellent communication skills to engage with technical and business stakeholders
- AWS Machine Learning Certification is a plus
- Willingness to relocate to Dubai if required by project needs
- Passion for staying current with the latest AI/ML and GenAI trends and incorporating innovations into production-ready systems
- Lead the development of cutting-edge GenAI and ML solutions across diverse use cases
- Architect and implement scalable AI pipelines and frameworks using state-of-the-art technologies
- Mentor and manage a high-performing team of AI/ML engineers
- Drive prompt engineering strategies and LLM applications across enterprise-grade systems
- Oversee the integration of AI components into cloud-native environments using AWS
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align AI initiatives with business goals
- Evaluate new tools, frameworks, and research to keep NorthBay on the forefront of AI innovation
