The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for achieving sales targets, managing relationships with healthcare professionals, and analyzing market trends.
Location: Trichy, Tamilnadu
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve or exceed sales targets within the assigned territory.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, surgeons, hospital administrators, and purchasing departments.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions for healthcare professionals.
- Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to closing and post-sale follow-up.
- Provide technical product support and guidance to customers.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product portfolio, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with marketing, customer service, and product development teams to support territory growth.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 3-5 years of successful sales experience in the medical device or healthcare industry.
- Strong knowledge of the healthcare landscape and decision-making process.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Skills:
- Clinical background or experience working with surgical or diagnostic devices.
- Existing network of contacts within hospitals or clinics in the territory.
- Ability to understand and convey complex medical concepts.
