Job Description:
- Reviews business requirements and provides comments on accuracy and completeness.
- Contributes to the identification and assessment of risks and exposures.
- Attends design reviews and understands application and system designs at a basic level.
- Develops and maintains test plans (including identifying test situations/scenarios) for less complex functions.
- May be responsible for conducting a test plan review and acquiring test plan signoff.
- Designs and creates test case documentation including test situations, data setup, execution steps and expected results.
- Interacts with business analysts/developers and other project team members while developing expected results and verifying results.
- Executes test cases for various types of testing including function, conversion, integration, intersystem, platform, parallel, stress, or regression.
- Logs and manages all defects until they are closed, approved, or deferred (e.g. use of Application Lifecycle Management, TIR Log).
- Provides regular status updates to Test Lead or Project Manager including any known issues or test concerns.
- Provides input or completes Test Report.
- Maintains clear communication with Test Lead.
- Able to work flexible hours and weekends as required.
- Participates in lessons learned.
- Designs and implements a self-development plan.
