Summary: As a Test Automation Engineer, you will utilize quality processes, automation tools, and methodologies to enhance testing products and solutions. Your typical day will involve running the end-to-end quality engineering function, focusing on automation to improve control, accuracy, and integrity in the testing process. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure that the automation strategies align with the overall project goals and contribute to delivering high-quality software products. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in automation testing. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Selenium and Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript or Python. - Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and methodologies. - Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment tools. - Familiarity with programming languages such as Java or Python. - Knowledge of performance testing tools and techniques. - End-to-end test automation using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript or Python. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Selenium. - This position is based at our Chennai office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
