As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical direction and architectural design of custom software solutions. This role requires guiding teams through the entire development lifecycle, from initial design concepts to final delivery. The position focuses on establishing development standards and ensuring that the software produced meets high expectations for quality, scalability, and performance. Collaboration with various stakeholders to align technical efforts with business goals is a key aspect of daily activities, fostering an environment of innovation and continuous improvement.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the implementation of best practices and development methodologies to enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor and support team members to foster professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure seamless integration of custom software components.
- Monitor project progress and proactively address any technical challenges or risks.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- Strong expertise in designing scalable and high-performance software architectures.
- Experience with code quality assurance practices including code reviews and automated testing.
- Ability to lead and guide development teams through complex technical challenges.
- Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization techniques specific to SAP HANA environments.
- Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business requirements.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- This position is based at our Coimbatore office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
