The Test Manager will oversee testing activities for a Business Unit, responsible for developing test plans, managing a team of quality service specialists, and ensuring timely delivery of test execution. The role involves stakeholder communication, managing vendor relationships, maintaining QA metrics, and providing technical solutions.
We are looking for a Test Manager with 12+ years of experience who can manage testing related activities for a Business Unit/Platform
Required Skills:
- Should have 12+ years of experiences in application development specific to quality assurance.
- 12+ years of experience and proficient in test definition, capable of developing test plans and test cases from technical specification
- 12+ years of working knowledge ( preferably hands on experience ) with test automation and driving test automation plan with the tools Selenium, Java, exposure to robot framework, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Knowledge of GenAI based solutions are preferred
- 8+ years of experience in handling communication with stakeholder
- 5+ years of experience in vendor management for testing services.
- Excellent problem solving, analytical and communication skills
- Excellent stakeholder management skills .
- Skills to engage with the team to expand areas of testing and quality
- Self motivator, able to learn quickly, meets deadlines and demonstrates problem-solving skills
- Strong sense of accountability and commitment
- Knowledge of software development / software development lifecycle within Agile environment.
- Working knowledge of performance test plans and ability to manage performance testing team
- Exposure in working with the test requirement and management tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps
- Participate in a Test Design Reviews for integration test plans within and across functions, complex scenarios, usability
Key Responsibilities:
- End to end test management activities with a team of 25+ quality service specialists, create roadmap, allocate task to team members and manage test execution delivery based on schedule or SLAs
- Understand business expectations, set the test plans and executions.
- Be First point of contact to plan and manage test execution and responsible for timely delivery
- Monitor daily operations, create execution reports and communicate to stakeholders on regular basis.
- Maintain QA metrics, implement innovations and processes, monitor the improvements
- Regular connect with stakeholders to understand the test progress outcome and improvement areas.
- Regular connect with vendors on the focus points, discuss the improvement areas. Manage cross – vendor teams and making sure they are delivering to the best of the business needs.
- Forecast the demand, recruitment and resources onboarding to KONE premise and assets/devices allocation.
- Maintain and mentor the testing resources and monitor their individual achievements.
- Followup with testing individuals for meeting their timely deliverables, achievements and learnings. Provide optimized solution on the deliverable challenges.
- Provide technical solutions to team on their need and should have Good relationship with integration team and exchange technical solutions
