As a Trade Lifecycle Manager II within Manila Settlements, you will play a crucial role in supporting the operational excellence of our Equities business across the APAC region. You will assist in the development and execution of settlement strategies, ensuring seamless trade instruction releases and settlement processes while maintaining high standards of service quality and operational efficiency. You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations for settlement/transaction processing for trades received from global clients from various Middle Offices. The incumbent should possess knowledge of equities, warrants, bonds, and a thorough understanding of the trade life cycle.

As a Trade Lifecycle Manager II within Manila Settlements, you will play a crucial role in supporting the operational excellence of our Equities business across the APAC region. Job responsibilities:
- Support the optimization of daily business deliverables, ensuring robust settlement processes and superior service quality.
- Assist in managing the service quality of the team and ensure operational procedures are followed, with tasks completed accurately and timely.
- Contribute to setting the vision and strategic direction for APAC settlements, aligning with broader organizational goals and market trends.
- Support the process LOB lead in providing top-quality operations in support of this global business.
- Participate in global and local projects focused on process re-engineering and system enhancements to elevate efficiency and control.
- Engage with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and regulatory bodies, to ensure alignment and compliance with industry standards.
- Ensure that procedures are documented and that the documentation is updated periodically.
- Identify and implement control enhancements, proactively addressing issues to mitigate operational risks.
- Assist in daily investigation and escalation of any issues.
- Provide daily/weekly statistics.
- Support in appraisals.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- At least 5 years of experience in Banking and Financial Services/Treasury environment or related function, with familiarity with products and services.
- Audit-focused and control-oriented in all BAU activities, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.
- Identify opportunities for process efficiency and implement them in a controlled manner.
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills. Good written and spoken English communication skills, with effective communication with key stakeholders.
- Able to provide coaching and guidance on all necessary process aspects.
- Knowledge of metrics and scorecard analysis.
- Possesses and applies specific experiences and knowledge to the completion of assignments.
- Good relationship-building and time management skills.
- Results-oriented.
