Our Indian Operations Centre (INOPC) is a competence center with around 2600+ skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, functional system testing, installation supervision, and commissioning. Over the last decade, INOPC has evolved to become the largest engineering hub serving more than 40 countries across different energy sectors. The team caters to the four business units—Transformers, Grid Integration, Grid Automation, High Voltage and has successfully executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries.

Mission Statement:

The Training Manager & Coordinator will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of employees in our engineering organization. This role will involve establishing a training center, designing curriculum, coordinating training sessions, and evaluating the effectiveness of training initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering education and training management.

Your responsibilities ​:

  • Design and establish a state-of-the-art training center, including layout, resources, and necessary technologies.

  • Collaborate with management to define the vision and goals of the training center and assess training needs through surveys, interviews, and performance evaluations.

  • Develop and update training programs and materials relevant to engineering practices and technologies and organize and schedule training sessions, workshops, and seminars

  • Coordinate with internal experts and external trainers to facilitate training delivery and develop and manage the training budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.

  • Source training materials and tools, negotiating contracts with vendors as needed and Implement metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.

  • Collect feedback from participants and make improvements based on assessment results and ensure that training programs comply with industry standards and regulations.

  • Stay updated on trends in engineering training and incorporate best practices and prepare regular reports on training activities, participation rates, and outcomes for management.

  • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in training programs and collaborate with department heads to align training objectives with organizational goals.

  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization

Your background:

  • Should have 5 - 8 years of experience

  • Should have bachelor’s degree in engineering, Education, Human Resources, or a related field (master’s preferred).

  • Proven experience in training program development and management, preferably in an engineering or technical environment.

  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms and training technologies.

  • Strong analytical skills to assess training effectiveness.

  • Project management skills to oversee the training center establishment and operation

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality digital solutions
