Work Location: Remote (except India)

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Develop and maintain standardized component requirements across global projects

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to unify material specifications

  • Define and drive material standardization for specifications and sizes

  • Clarify global test methods for critical quality parameters

  • Provide technical expertise to sourcing teams for supplier evaluation

  • Support negotiations on technical requirements with suppliers

  • Act as a technical guide for project teams on component engineering

  • Stay current with advancements in component technologies and materials

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Material Science, Engineering, Metallurgy, or Chemical Engineering (Ph.D. with 2–3 years of experience also considered)

  • Minimum 5 years of industry experience

  • Experience in transformer industry and supplier technology development preferred

  • Strong knowledge of component engineering and material specifications

  • Familiarity with SAP S/4Hana and Windchill is a plus

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
