The role involves managing end-to-end delivery of fintech technology projects, coordinating teams, managing budgets, and ensuring quality standards.
Role Summary / Purpose
This role contributes to the design, development, and delivery of technology solutions within the Project Management function and will lead end-to-end delivery of client-facing fintech products. The position supports enterprise-grade systems and services, ensuring quality, scalability, and alignment with business objectives. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to ensuring predictable and high‑quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and close technology projects within scope, time, and budget.
- Manage project schedules, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and third-party vendors.
- Report project status to stakeholders and leadership.
- Own RAID (Risk, Action, Issue, Dependency) management with clear mitigation strategies and timely escalation.
- Serve as the primary liaison between technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Manage 2–3 concurrent projects or serve as Program/Core PM for large engagements.
- 6. Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- 5–10 years of IT project management experience, preferably in fintech, banking, payments, or core banking systems.
- Strong experience delivering technology projects using Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid methodologies.
- Expertise in project tools (JIRA, MS Project, Planview, dashboards).
- Demonstrated ability to manage multi-million‑dollar budgets and large teams (10–50 members).
Desired Skills
- Familiarity with delivery methodologies (Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid) as applicable
- Experience in capital markets and fintech products
- Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management
- Certifications: PMP, CSM, SAFe, Prince2.
