Responsibilities include


  • Ability to understand the functionality of the application under test
  • Identify and define the test specifications based on the requirements
  • Needs to have good understanding of testing and defect triage processes
  • Prior work experience in Agile scrum or SAFe is an advantage
  • Testing Tools: Xray, ReadyAPI, Microfocus ALM, JIRA, trackSpace
  • Knowledge of backend service testing with ReadyAPI or Postman, API debugging/root cause analysis
  • Knowledge of microservice architecture and cloud database
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline (GIT etc)
  • Experienced and exposed to Test Execution at different test levels (viz., SAT, SIT, UAT etc)

 

Responsibilities for the Role:

  • Analyze user stories and design/develop Test Models and Test cases
  • Experience with execution of automated scripts using in trend automation tools, LCNC frameworks
  • Proficient with databases, good knowledge of writing SQL 
  • Execute automated backend regression test suites in pipeline for iterations and PROD releases
  • Present tested feature within iteration reviews and system demos
  • Attend and actively participate in PI Plannings  
  • Participate all sprint planning, pre- and post sprint release ceremonies
  • Meet with developers and BAs for quick hand-off demonstrations and share the iteration demos with the devs
  • Onshore experience-interacting with customer, UAT experience is added advantage
