The Senior UX/UI Designer will lead design initiatives, conduct user research, create prototypes, and ensure user-centered design in collaboration with product teams.
We’re recruiting for an experienced UX Designer to spearhead a wide range of design initiatives here at RAD. As a Senior UX/UI Designer, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining and executing the user experience within product squads. You'll collaborate closely with your squad (a cross-functional team of product-focused individuals) to understand user needs, translate them into intuitive designs, and champion user-centric principles throughout the development lifecycle. We're seeking a visionary designer who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution to deliver exceptional experiences that delight and inspire.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research and usability testing to understand user needs and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Create user personas, journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts.
- Design and iterate on user interfaces for web and mobile applications, ensuring they are user-friendly, aesthetically pleasing, and aligned with our brand.
- Create prototype designs for websites or applications based on the requirements.
- Optimize existing user interface designs.
- Test for intuitivity and experience.
- Develop technical and business requirements and always strive to deliver intuitive and user-centered solutions.
- Combine creativity with an awareness of the design elements.
- Create prototypes for new product ideas.
- Test new ideas before implementing.
- Work with other team members including UI designers, developers, and product managers.
Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in UX/I.
- Attention to detail over your design files and implementing design best practices.
- You’re in-the-know about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UX design to continually enhance our products and processes.
- A well-articulated ability to systemically solve problems using human-centered design.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus.
- Great collaboration skills and a love for working with others to understand and solve user problems
