About Immo-Office: Immo-Office ovides mission critical software for property management services. Our platform supports related departments with maintenance and tenant management as well as safety / compliance and contractor management / operational insights. We are entering an exciting phase of growth with a complete modernization of our legacy application. This includes rewriting the product on a modern tech stack using AI assisted development workflows.
We are looking for a hybrid UX Designer / Product Owner who is energized by the opportunity to shape a new application from the ground up. This role is ideal for a creative visionary who also possesses the tactical discipline of a Product Owner—someone who can design the interface, manage the roadmap, and launch the brand.
About The Role As the UX Designer / Product Owner, you will bridge the gap between user experience, product requirements, and market presence. You will lead the discovery and specification of new features, owning the full lifecycle from visual design to backlog management.
You will be responsible for defining our next-generation Agentic UX, integrating multi-modal interfaces (Voice/Visual), and establishing design principles that ensure control and transparency in AI applications. Additionally, you will lead the branding and go-to-market visual strategy for the product rewrite.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Design & Agentic UX Strategy
Design the New Agentic UX: Lead the creation of a modern, AI-integrated user experience. Design multi-modal interfaces that seamlessly blend Visual UI with Voice User Interfaces (VUI) to support first responders in high-stress environments.
AI Design Systems: Create and maintain design systems and principles focused specifically on control, transparency, and trust in AI applications.
Figma Mastery: Utilize Figma to create high-fidelity prototypes, wireframes, and design components that serve as the "source of truth" for engineering.
User Discovery: Lead UX research and feature discovery sessions to translate complex emergency workflows into intuitive design solutions.
2. Product Management & Roadmap Execution
Process & Tooling: Develop and implement the Product Design and Feature Requirements process. Establish the tooling ecosystem (Jira, Confluence, Figma) to streamline the flow from concept to code.
Roadmap Management: Own the product roadmap planning, ensuring alignment between design vision, engineering capacity, and business goals.
Requirements Management: Translate design concepts into detailed technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria within Jira.
Backlog Ownership: Prioritize the product backlog, facilitate sprint planning, and work closely with engineering to ensure requirements are understood and delivered to spec.
3. Branding, Launch & Marketing
Brand Development: Expertly manage the Branding & Style Guide development for the new platform, ensuring a cohesive visual identity.
Product Launch Leadership: Lead product launch initiatives, coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure a successful go-to-market strategy.
Marketing Assets: Create required marketing materials and manage the online product presence, including the design and development oversight of the product website.
4. Legacy Modernization
Rewrite Strategy: Identify gaps and inefficiencies in the legacy system and translate them into improved, modern UX solutions.
Parity & Enhancement: Balance the need for feature parity with the legacy system while introducing new, AI-driven capabilities.
Qualifications
Required
Experience: 3+ years of experience in a hybrid Product Design / Product Management role (or equivalent combination of roles).
UX Tooling Expert: Deep knowledge and expert proficiency in Figma for prototyping and design systems.
Requirements Management: Expertise in using Jira and Confluence for backlog management, documentation, and roadmap planning.
Multi-Modal Design: Proven experience designing multi-modal interfaces, specifically Voice (VUI) and Visual interactions.
AI Design Principles: Strong portfolio or experience creating design systems focused on AI transparency, user control, and trust.
Branding: Demonstrated experience in developing Brand Style Guides and marketing assets.
Communication: Excellent ability to bridge the gap between technical engineering requirements and visual design elements.
Nice to Have
Experience in the fire service, EMS, or public safety software industry.
Experience with Webflow, WordPress, or frontend technologies (HTML/CSS) for marketing site creation.
Background in cognitive psychology or human factors engineering (relevant for high-stress UX).
Familiarity with "Agentic" workflows and Generative AI application patterns.
