Lead and produce UX/UI design deliverables for customer-facing websites and mobile, including wireframes, mockups, style guides, and IA. Ensure timely iterations, collaborate with cross-functional teams and developers, maintain high client satisfaction, and apply UX/CX best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and review Creative workstreams.
- Oversee, review, and create design deliverables on assigned projects (e.g., comps, style guides, branding and creative briefs, graphics, layouts, etc.)
- Contribute to delivery of architecture-focused deliverables in projects (e.g., information architecture, taxonomy, content structures, etc.)
- Responsible for customer satisfaction survey scores on an average of > 4.0 on creative work you are involved with
- Prior experience designing customer facing websites for a retail client
- Responsible for ensuring creative deliverables are on time and iterated expeditiously with clients
- Acquire a sense for application development and UI / UX / CX
- Work towards having a strong opinion, grounded in fact on UI / UX / CX
- Create wireframes and iterate with clients based on desired features.
- Translate wireframes into mockups.
- Experience in designing for mobile web and mobile app is preferred.
- Requires knowing Sketch.
Years of Experience:
- 5+ years relevant design experience
Other Skills/Knowledge
- Strong portfolio that demonstrates an expert capability in design principles and solutions
- Extensive experience with visual design, principles of UI design, layouts, graphics development, typography, color, and visual theories
- Knowledge of user experience disciplines such as UX architecture, research, usability, and content strategies
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Trained and experienced in digital design, web, and mobile development in an enterprise environment
- Experience designing with mobile layouts in mind
- Capable of understanding and articulating technical feasibility of solutions
- Capable of communicating with technical developers to transfer design to deliverables.
