- Develop reasonably accurate Long-rage revenue/expense forecast for Pfizer pipeline assets and BD projects
- Develop data, insights and recommendations for Strategic Plans that include strategies, tactics, and programs to maximize the long-term potential of development compounds
- Experience of Oncology product assessment preferable
Main Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include ensuring that information and recommendations are made available in appropriate format to inform and drive business decisions on a particular project, such as:
- Deliver consistent high-quality information, insights and recommendations to management and Japan/global colleagues
- Investigate and identify key stakeholders' (payers, market access customers, healthcare professionals, and patients) needs and reflect these insights into business/access planning processes via leveraging real-world databases and/ or primary research information in the following areas:
- Epidemiology: Patient dynamics, pathology, genetic background, Diagnosis & treatment guidelines
- Market Environment: Current market size, competitive landscape analysis
- Physician/Patient/Payer Insights: Unmet medical needs, Burden of Disease/ QOL
- Work in close alignment and cooperation with a cross-section of colleagues (global CSI, Global Value and Access, Global Medicine Team, MA, DJ, Therapeutic Area (TA), H&V, P&PA, IP and BAI)
- Lead market development, in cooperation with A&V, TAs, DJ and other colleagues, essential to maximizing the long-term potential of new products
- Manage priorities of multiple clients/partners
- Obtain global alignment and implements the transition of projects to Marketing
- Obtain endorsements from senior management to follow a course of action through presentation of information and recommendations
- Manage project progress and team's expense in a timely manner to keep the project on track, and obtain additional resources if necessary
- Provide supports with team members and make a KAIZEN to Improve organizational alignment and team performance
SKILL SET
Key Strategic Capabilities:
- Knowledgeable about secondary data and publicly available market data, and strong analytical skills
- Solid understanding of health policy and health system dynamics, access, pricing & reimbursement system
- Strong Japanese and English, and PC skills, presentation skills
- Strategic mindset with a clear focus on the business
- Ability to effectively design market research and build a strategic plan
- Excellent communication skills to interact with external/internal executive-level stakeholders
- Coaching skill to develop and motivate people
Desired Knowledge/Experience:
- Marketing experience in Pharma and/or other industries
- New product planning & analysis, database/Market analysis, Drug development/Medical affairs
- Experience of Oncology product early assessment (Hematology Oncology preferable)
