The role will be required to align the strategic vision for Content Curation WOS team with Global A&G Content Operations and ensure operational delivery of services, including:

  • Leading the Content Curation function in India, the USA, EMEA, and APAC

  • Managing budget costs and 500+ headcount

  • Establishing the future state operating model for Content Curation

  • Driving Clarivate’s A&G Content Curation delivery capabilities to surpass customer satisfaction and retention while delivering improved margins and profitability

  • Align and influence A&G Content Curation's growth, customer service, and product strategy with the wider A&G Content Operations strategy.

A strong leadership experience that will enable and support the development of a strong second line of leadership in Clarivate.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
  • Overall, 20 years+ of experience, of which at least 5+ years should be in managing large-scale operations and leadership roles across multiple regions/countries

  • Experience in working with operations, managing vendors and direct client interactions

  • Proven track record in leadership roles with the ability to manage teams across different countries and cultures

  • Ability to manage relationships, including key clients and 3rd party suppliers

  • Experience in using Lean methodology, including TPM

  • Proven track record of managing internal and statutory audits

  • Experience in driving cultural change within a multi-site environment

  • Strong customer focus with demonstrable track record in operations

What will you be doing in this role?
  • Influence and implement operations strategy and policy for Content Curation WOS team with a key focus on agreeing and implementing the plan across different timelines.

  • Drive improved margins and profitability by creating and enhancing the Content Operational delivery framework for the Content Curation WOS team

  • Shape, implement and drive performance against KPIs:

  • Cost Budget, Gross Margin, Revenue per FTE

  • People- Employee Engagement, Attrition

  • Client- Turnaround Time, Lead times, Quality

  • Own and deliver the Content Curation WOS team operations budgets – Employee cost, headcount, vendors

  • Establish and refine a framework for continual improvement with industry-leading practices and quality tools

  • Ensure an effective risk management program is maintained across Content Curation

  • Engage with Product development teams to influence technology and product developments that support operational delivery.

  • Work with the technology function to shape and implement solutions to improve operational delivery and customer experience

  • Build an effective and cohesive management team across Content Curation WOS

  • Implement an effective succession plan and focus on the recruitment, development and retention of a high-performing operations team

Hours of Work:

This is a full-time role, 45 hours a week, in a Hybrid mode of working
