About the role
Liven is seeking a strategic and execution-focused Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our global finance function through the next phase of growth, capital strategy, and international expansion.
As a core member of the Executive Leadership Team, you will partner closely with the CEO, Board, and investors to drive financial performance, capital efficiency, and long-term enterprise value creation.
This role requires both strategic leadership and operational excellence. You will shape capital strategy and investor positioning while ensuring strong governance, reporting integrity, and scalable finance infrastructure across multiple geographies.
What you'll do
- Own Liven’s end-to-end financial strategy including long-range planning, capital structure, and investment prioritisation.
- Partner with the CEO and Board to define enterprise value creation plans and funding roadmap.
- Provide financial insight and decision support for strategic initiatives across markets.
- Lead fundraising strategy, investor communications, and due diligence processes.
- Own board reporting, financial storytelling, and investor readiness.
- Maintain high-quality financial data rooms and reporting standards.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, scenario modelling, and cash runway management.
- Drive improvements in unit economics, gross margin, working capital, and operating efficiency.
- Support pricing strategy and commercial decisions through data-driven insights.
- Oversee accounting, audit, tax, and statutory compliance across regions.
- Ensure timely close cycles, reporting accuracy, and strong internal controls.
- Strengthen governance frameworks and financial discipline globally.
- Own ERP governance and financial systems strategy (NetSuite preferred).
- Improve reporting automation and executive dashboard visibility (Power BI / Tableau).
- Ensure consistent metric definitions and data integrity across regions.
- Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing global finance team.
- Establish clear ownership, operating rhythms, and accountability frameworks.
Qualifications
- 16+ years of progressive finance experience.
- Proven executive leadership experience (CFO or VP Finance) in high-growth SaaS, fintech, or technology environments.
- Experience operating across multiple geographies.
- Deep expertise in SaaS metrics including ARR, churn, LTV:CAC, deferred revenue, and gross margin.
- Demonstrated success leading fundraising, investor relations, and complex financial initiatives.
- Strong experience building scalable finance functions and governance frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite (or similar ERP systems).
- Exceptional communication and executive stakeholder management skills.
- CPA / CA / CFA required (MBA preferred).

- IPO readiness or late-stage capital markets exposure.
- M&A evaluation, diligence, and post-acquisition integration experience.
- Cross-border structuring and global expansion strategy experience.
- Experience in incentive design and ESOP modelling.
- Advanced financial automation and BI transformation experience.
