Join the revolution in hospitality tech!
Nomni is the all-in-one platform built for hospitality operators - bringing POS, payments, ordering, loyalty, procurement, marketing, and data together in one system, with AI at its core.

We exist because hospo tech has been built around what's good for the people providing it, not the people using it. We're changing that. Built by operators, for operators - with 35,000 venues already on the platform across Australia and Southeast Asia.

One platform. One team. One company accountable for the outcomes that matter.

About the role
Nomni is seeking a strategic and execution-focused Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our global finance function through the next phase of growth, capital strategy, and international expansion.

As a core member of the Executive Leadership Team, you will partner closely with the CEO, Board, and investors to drive financial performance, capital efficiency, and long-term enterprise value creation.

This role requires both strategic leadership and operational excellence. You will shape capital strategy and investor positioning while ensuring strong governance, reporting integrity, and scalable finance infrastructure across multiple geographies.

What you'll do

  • Own Nomni’s end-to-end financial strategy including long-range planning, capital structure, and investment prioritisation.
  • Partner with the CEO and Board to define enterprise value creation plans and funding roadmap.
  • Provide financial insight and decision support for strategic initiatives across markets.
  • Lead fundraising strategy, investor communications, and due diligence processes.
  • Own board reporting, financial storytelling, and investor readiness.
  • Maintain high-quality financial data rooms and reporting standards.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, scenario modelling, and cash runway management.
  • Drive improvements in unit economics, gross margin, working capital, and operating efficiency.
  • Support pricing strategy and commercial decisions through data-driven insights.
  • Oversee accounting, audit, tax, and statutory compliance across regions.
  • Ensure timely close cycles, reporting accuracy, and strong internal controls.
  • Strengthen governance frameworks and financial discipline globally.
  • Own ERP governance and financial systems strategy (NetSuite preferred).
  • Improve reporting automation and executive dashboard visibility (Power BI / Tableau).
  • Ensure consistent metric definitions and data integrity across regions.
  • Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing global finance team.
  • Establish clear ownership, operating rhythms, and accountability frameworks.

Qualifications

  • 16+ years of progressive finance experience.
  • Proven executive leadership experience (CFO or VP Finance) in high-growth SaaS, fintech, or technology environments.
  • Experience operating across multiple geographies.
  • Deep expertise in SaaS metrics including ARR, churn, LTV:CAC, deferred revenue, and gross margin.
  • Demonstrated success leading fundraising, investor relations, and complex financial initiatives.
  • Strong experience building scalable finance functions and governance frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite (or similar ERP systems).
  • Exceptional communication and executive stakeholder management skills.
  • CPA / CA / CFA required (MBA preferred).

Good to Have

  • IPO readiness or late-stage capital markets exposure.
  • M&A evaluation, diligence, and post-acquisition integration experience.
  • Cross-border structuring and global expansion strategy experience.
  • Experience in incentive design and ESOP modelling.
  • Advanced financial automation and BI transformation experience.

What you need to know about the Chennai Tech Scene

To locals, it's no secret that South India is leading the charge in big data infrastructure. While the environmental impact of data centers has long been a concern, emerging hubs like Chennai are favored by companies seeking ready access to renewable energy resources, which provide more sustainable and cost-effective solutions. As a result, Chennai, along with neighboring Bengaluru and Hyderabad, is poised for significant growth, with a projected 65 percent increase in data center capacity over the next decade.
