Our HR platform is intuitive, data-driven, and built for how people work today: globally, remotely, and collaboratively.
Come and be you with us
Being a Bobber is all about being you . We want you to bring all parts of yourself to work, giving you the freedom and confidence to be the best you and do your best work. We're looking for an inspiring and experienced VP of People & Culture for our US sites to join our global People & Culture team. Reporting directly to HiBob's Chief People Officer, this role is a strategic and hands-on position, perfect for someone passionate about people, culture, and driving meaningful change at scale. You'll be instrumental in shaping our people strategy for the US, ensuring it aligns with HiBob's global vision while tailoring it to the needs of our growing team across the region.
At HiBob, we believe in creating a culture that's as innovative and exceptional as the solutions we offer - and this is an exciting opportunity to be a champion of our values, lead key HR initiatives, and foster a workplace where Bobbers feel supported, engaged, and empowered to grow.
What You'll Do:
• Lead People & Culture for the US : Oversee all HR functions and people practices for HiBob's US sites, ensuring alignment with local and global strategies.
• Champion Our Culture: Invest in HiBob's unique culture, nurturing community, belonging, and shared accountability across teams.
• Coach and Collaborate: Partner closely with US leaders and managers to provide guidance, coaching, and strategic support.
• Drive Talent Development: Design and implement initiatives to support leadership development, career growth, and skill-building for Bobbers across the US.
• Ensure Compliance and Best Practices: Maintain a strong understanding of local HR legislation and ensure compliance across all people processes.
• Foster DEIB: Advocate for diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB), embedding it into HiBob's culture and initiatives.
• Support Organizational Growth: Partner with cross-functional teams to align people strategies with HiBob's business objectives, particularly as we scale.
**Note: We will only consider candidates located in the New York Metro Area who are willing to work in our NYC office 2-3 days a week (Tuesday - Thursday). We love collaborating and connecting with our team members in-person, and we hope you will too!**
Base salaries for this role range from $225,000 - $300,000 per year. This role has an additional variable compensation component.
As an HR company, HiBob seeks to create a best-in-class employee experience for all Bobbers. We take immense pride in the diversity of our team and in creating an environment that is fair and equitable for all. Ensuring pay equity across race, gender, and all other forms of diversity is pivotal to this mission.
When determining salary ranges for our roles, we look at external market data and the salaries of Bobbers holding the same or similar roles. Our pay bands are wide because great candidates come to us with a broad range of experience and skill sets. When making individual pay rate decisions, we take into account the candidates' depth of experience, their qualifications relative to incumbent employees, and their location-among other factors.

To locals, it's no secret that South India is leading the charge in big data infrastructure. While the environmental impact of data centers has long been a concern, emerging hubs like Chennai are favored by companies seeking ready access to renewable energy resources, which provide more sustainable and cost-effective solutions. As a result, Chennai, along with neighboring Bengaluru and Hyderabad, is poised for significant growth, with a projected 65 percent increase in data center capacity over the next decade.
