Web Developer

ValGenesis is seeking a Web Developer (based in Chennai, India or Lisbon, Portugal) to build and maintain our marketing web properties. This role involves coding, testing, and updating front-end elements using HTML, CSS, JavaScript using a Bootstrap 5 framework. Familiarity with a CMS platform, if possible HubSpot is ideal. An understanding of HubL (or, if not possible, Python) is also required, including the ability to connect HubDB to the front end. This is the opportunity to help take an industry-known brand to the next level.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web pages, landing pages, and microsites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, with a Bootstrap 5 framework.
• Connect and integrate HubDB data into the front end using HubL.
• Work within HubSpot to prototype, stage, and publish changes.
• Ensure code quality and site performance while aligning with brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with the rest of the marketing team to implement updates and improvements.
• Maintain and update the codebase for all web properties.

• Front-end development experience (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) with Bootstrap 5.
• Familiarity with working in a CMS environment (HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo, etc.)
• Understanding of HubL (or, alternatively, Python).
• Knowledge of site performance practices and version control (e.g., Git).
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

How We Work

Our Lisbon office is hybrid. We believe that in-person interaction and collaboration foster creativity, and a sense of community, and is critical to our future success as a company. Our hybrid schedule is 3 days per week, within a reasonable commuting distance to our Lisbon office.
