Role Summary
The Workday / ATS Functional Consultant will be responsible for configuring, optimizing, and supporting multiple Workday HCM modules while ensuring seamless integration with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
The role will focus on business process configuration, automation, reporting, security, and ATS integration support to enhance HR and talent management operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide functional configuration and support across 2–3 core Workday HCM modules, including:
Total Rewards (Advanced Compensation, Compensation, Benefits)
Talent
Core HCM
Payroll
Time Tracking
Absence Management
Configure and maintain Workday Security, including:
Role-based security
Domain security
Business process security
Design, configure, and optimize Workday Business Processes (BPs) to automate manual workflows.
Configure and manage Advanced Compensation programs, including:
Merit cycles
Promotions
Rewards and compensation planning
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Workday solutions.
Develop and enhance Workday reports and dashboards to support operational and leadership insights.
Document configurations, workflows, and process changes in the central knowledge repository.
Work closely with HR, Payroll, Talent, and IT teams across global locations and time zones.
Support, maintain, and optimize integrations with ATS platforms such as Greenhouse.
5+ years of experience as a Workday Functional Consultant in enterprise environments.
Hands-on experience configuring multiple Workday HCM modules.
Strong experience with Workday Security configuration.
In-depth understanding of Workday Business Process Framework (BPF).
Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working in global and cross-functional environments.
Experience configuring Advanced Compensation programs.
Experience working with ATS platforms (Greenhouse strongly preferred).
Experience identifying automation opportunities and improving HR workflows.
Prior experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
Workday Functional Certification.
