About the role
AGL’s Procurement & Property Services team is looking for a Workplace Services Representative (12-Month Max Term) to deliver exceptional workplace experience and support across our corporate offices, helping create a safe, professional and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and contractors.

This is a customer‑facing, fast‑paced role based in our Sydney corporate office.
What you will be doing
Deliver professional reception services, greeting all visitors, contractors and employees
Manage incoming calls via the corporate switchboard and employee support line
Manage the Workplace Services shared inbox, triaging and escalating enquiries as needed
Lead new starter induction tours and office tours for visitors and contractors
Manage and maintain accurate security access for employees and visitors
Coordinate office consumables including stationery, kitchen supplies, beverages, crockery and glassware
Oversee incoming and outgoing mail services
Support meeting room and event requirements, including room setup, loading dock access and site access coordination
Manage catering deliveries and provide water service to external‑facing meeting rooms
Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, including access cards and locker allocation
Provide remote support to AGL sites without onsite Workplace Services presence
Support the Property team with signage, relocations, contractor liaison and employee education
Monitor CCTV systems and escalate issues to the Security Manager promptly
What you will bring
You’re a positive, proactive team member who thrives in a service‑oriented environment and enjoys creating a seamless workplace experience.
Minimum one year experience in a similar office support or customer service role
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise competing tasks
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
A solutions‑focused, energetic and approachable attitude
Willingness to engage in light physical activity, such as room setups and moving around the workplace as needed
