DESIGNATION: Zonal Sales Manager – South

REPORTING TO: Head of Retail Sales
LOCATION: Bangalore
ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Zonal Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy across both regions to drive growth in Remidio’s ophthalmology device portfolio. You will lead a team of Area/Territory Sales Managers, drive key account relationships, and be accountable for meeting revenue targets, expanding market share, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies for the South zones in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Lead, manage, and mentor the regional sales teams (Area Sales Managers & Territory Executives).
  • Drive achievement of sales targets across geographies and product lines.
  • Uphold compliance and ethical standards across sales practices.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders including ophthalmologists, hospital procurement teams, and distributors.
  • Identify new market opportunities and drive expansion into untapped geographies.
  • Monitor competitive activity and market trends; provide actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with marketing, service, and product teams to ensure customer success.
  • Ensure timely reporting, forecasting, and analysis to management. Uphold compliance and ethical standards across sales practices.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
  • Proven experience in medical device sales (preferably ophthalmology).
  • Hands-on experience with CRM for sales tracking and funnel management.
  • Understanding of clinical workflows and buying cycles in healthcare.
  • Proficiency in Excel for data analysis, reporting, and business planning.
  • Ability to use data to drive decisions and optimize team performance.

  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
  •  Willingness to travel extensively across regions.
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 8–10 years of relevant sales experience in the medical device industry, with at least 2 years in team management roles.
QUALIFICATION: Bachelor’s Degree with MBA Preferred.
LANGUAGES KNOWN: English, Hindi & Regional Languages.
