Designs low- to medium-complexity engineering solutions, drawings, specifications, and plans for manufacturing, fabrication, and construction. Creates and modifies 2D and 3D designs using Autodesk and other engineering software, verifies vendor drawings, coordinates civil and mechanical interfaces, supports design reviews, and manages project documentation, folder structures, permissions, and design packages in Autodesk Construction Cloud. Collaborates with global teams and maintains quality while managing multiple priorities.

Designs electrical systems for industrial automation projects, including SLDs, protection systems, equipment specifications, sizing calculations, layouts, cable schedules, schematics, and control logic. Performs power system studies and prepares RFQs and BOMs. Requires an electrical engineering degree, 3–8 years of relevant project experience, experience with large projects, electrical design tools, and strong technical and communication skills. Commissioning and service experience is preferred.

Responsible for selling products, systems, and services within ABB Motion’s designated market in Chennai. The role involves meeting sales and profitability targets, developing new opportunities, communicating commercial terms, supporting marketing activities, managing sales administration, assisting with collections and project management, and maintaining customer relationships across channel businesses, OEMs, EPCs, and end users.
