Designs, develops, and operates infrastructure, observability platforms, and internal tooling for Akamai’s Compute products. Responsibilities include proactive troubleshooting, automation, systems programming, Kubernetes and production-system operations, reliability and scalability improvements, cross-team collaboration, and guidance on service performance. The role requires Linux administration, networking knowledge, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, configuration management, cloud storage exposure, and scripting expertise.

Develop and maintain highly available cloud infrastructure applications for Akamai’s App Battery platform. Build Python software, manage Docker containers and Kubernetes deployments, create Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, and support secure deployment through vulnerability management and static analysis. The role also involves Linux administration, GitOps delivery with ArgoCD, observability using Fluent Bit and Logstash, and modern web development with TypeScript.

Designs and implements scalable Akamai and Linode cloud solutions for enterprise customers. Partners with account, engineering, security, and delivery teams to support cloud transformations, architect IaaS environments, analyze application components, and develop service-oriented architectures, APIs, and web services. Provides technical thought leadership, aligns cloud investments with business strategy, and drives adoption of cloud compute products across complex enterprise environments.
