Own Alation’s connector product mission across 80+ integrations. Define strategy for existing and emerging data sources, prioritize investments, expand connectivity for AIOS, validate direction with customers, and partner closely with engineering to scope and ship solutions. Provide advanced technical support for enterprise customers using the Alation platform. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and debugging complex issues, serving as a subject matter expert and escalation point, creating technical documentation, leading enablement sessions, and building lab environments to reproduce and resolve problems. The role requires expertise in Linux, SQL, relational databases, Java or Python application debugging, web servers, and REST APIs, with rotational shift availability.

The Software Engineer III role involves owning the design and development of key features and services, solving technical problems, and optimizing code, with a strong emphasis on AI-assisted development techniques.
