Leads AstraZeneca’s enterprise data engineering strategy, capability, standards, and global federated service. Builds and scales teams and platforms covering data acquisition, storage, ingestion, transformation, orchestration, CI/CD, containerization, governance, lineage, quality, FinOps, security, compliance, and SLAs/SLOs. Drives automation, reusable accelerators, adoption, capability maturity, and collaboration across data, analytics, AI, cloud, architecture, finance, legal, cybersecurity, privacy, and business technology teams.

Own the strategy, roadmap, backlog, governance, and adoption of enterprise developer tooling platforms. Lead artifact management, vulnerability intelligence, static code analysis, secure golden paths, CI/CD integrations, and developer experience improvements. Collaborate across engineering, security, compliance, architecture, and development teams to prioritize capabilities, implement scalable controls, manage change, and track adoption, quality, remediation, and efficiency metrics.

Lead a team of DevOps and platform engineers while owning enterprise engineering platforms, operational service delivery, CI/CD improvements, migrations, integrations, incident resolution, governance, and developer productivity initiatives. The role requires hands-on technical leadership across GitHub, Jira, Confluence, SonarQube, Artifactory, EKS, and related tooling, alongside people management, prioritization, service improvement, and stakeholder collaboration.
