The Web Governance Specialist ensures content quality on Elsevier.com by monitoring compliance with governance standards, reviewing content structure, and improving user pathways through collaboration and issue resolution.

Develop and support Salesforce CRM solutions for global sales and business teams. Responsibilities include real-time user support, business analysis, requirements evaluation, integration monitoring and troubleshooting, documentation, UAT support, process improvement, and phased development. The role serves as a Salesforce subject matter expert, ensuring scalable, reliable, user-focused solutions aligned with Sales and Marketing objectives.

Designs, builds, and maintains scalable data pipelines, transformations, data models, and analytical solutions using Snowflake and dbt. Collaborates with product owners, database architects, and analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions. Responsibilities include code reviews, performance optimization, data quality and reliability improvements, and evaluating emerging technologies such as AI and LLMs. The role also applies SQL, CI/CD, cloud services, orchestration, infrastructure-as-code, and programming skills across sales and marketing data platforms.

Collaborates with product owners, architects, and analysts; performs code reviews; resolves performance, quality, and reliability issues; and evaluates emerging AI and LLM technologies.

Prepare and distribute financial reports covering receivables, ageing debt, credit risk, and cash collections. Develop dashboards, reporting solutions, and automated workflows; perform data validation, reconciliation, and analysis; support system migrations, audits, investigations, and continuous improvement. Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to enhance reporting accuracy, efficiency, and usefulness.

Support Data scientists and product owners by preparing and analyzing large datasets, building dataprep pipelines, evaluating model metrics (precision/recall), creating dashboards and insights, and communicating findings to global stakeholders using tools like Databricks, SQL, Pandas, Snowflake and Collibra.

Build and deploy cloud-hosted, distributed systems for ingesting, processing, storing, and serving structured and unstructured data. Collaborate with stakeholders, influence architecture, improve delivery processes, partner with cross-functional Agile and DevOps teams, and enable data discovery, analytics, reporting and AI-driven insights.

Independently perform complex analytics and large-scale data preparation using Databricks, Snowflake, SQL, Python and Spark. Collaborate with Product Owners and Data Scientists to validate data products, evaluate model precision/recall, produce insights and recommendations, and communicate findings to stakeholders. Ensure data quality and support product improvements.

Collaborate with teams to design and execute testing strategies, drive quality practices, and implement automation and performance testing to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Lead design and implementation of scalable batch and streaming data pipelines and microservices using Spark, Kafka Streams, Kubernetes, and Scala. Build reusable data platform components, work with knowledge-graph models, mentor junior engineers, and ensure observability, CI/CD, and AWS-based deployments.

Lead FP&A for multiple Elsevier business units (~$3B sales), manage a team of four, deliver management reporting and analysis, drive budgets, forecasts and quota-setting, own Oracle sales planning application, coordinate BDS reporting cycles, and lead automation/GenAI and continuous improvement initiatives.
