Teams at Microstrategy

The Director of Engineering will lead multiple engineering teams and define technical strategy for enterprise-scale backend, frontend, and data platforms. Responsibilities include governing Java microservices and React architecture, modernizing cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP, integrating Snowflake and Databricks, establishing security and observability standards, improving DevOps and CI/CD maturity, and driving reliability, delivery quality, and AI-enabled BI evolution. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong Java coding skills.

Develop and automate tests for cloud APIs, data pipelines, AI inference services, and model-serving endpoints. Validate data flows and model outputs while performing integration, regression, and performance testing. Collaborate with global developers, data engineers, and QA teams. The role requires hands-on automation and backend service testing, with exposure to REST APIs, CI tools, containerized environments, and optional Redis, Kafka, NoSQL, and cloud-based test analysis.

The Software Architect will guide large-scale projects, define architectural standards, and lead teams in delivering full-stack web solutions.
