Teams at National Payments Corporation Of India (NPCI)

Lead 24x7 application support for the BBPS payments ecosystem, overseeing incident response, production stability, partner integrations, L1/L2 support, reconciliation, settlement, monitoring, and root-cause remediation. Manage incident bridges, rosters, SLAs, runbooks, dashboards, and stakeholder communications while improving reliability, scalability, security flows, and on-premises infrastructure performance under high transaction volumes.

Develop and maintain scalable Java backend applications, microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven Kafka solutions. Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases, troubleshoot production issues, participate in architecture and code reviews, and support deployments. Own Jira stories throughout the Agile delivery lifecycle, coordinating with product, QA, DevOps, and business teams to ensure timely, well-tested, documented delivery.

Conduct end-to-end certification and compliance testing for NPCI payment products, including UPI, IMPS, AePS, and NeTC. Coordinate with banks, payment partners, vendors, and internal teams to validate products, execute test cases, track defects, resolve issues, maintain certification documentation, and support audits. Implement certification automation, manage concurrent certification activities, develop SOPs, and design AI-enabled monitoring and risk-prediction frameworks.
