Leads secure transportation of adults in custody to correctional facilities, medical and dental appointments, courts, and other authorized locations. Supervises transport staff and drivers, conducts searches, maintains key and equipment control, processes documentation, and enforces safety and security procedures. The role requires operating various vehicles, including large buses, carrying authorized weapons, maintaining Taser and range qualifications, working overtime, and responding to emergencies. Applicants must be current ODOC or OCE employees and meet correctional certification, licensing, background, and drug-testing requirements.
