Agnikul Cosmos is a company incubated at IIT Madras and we build rockets that can take satellites up to 500 kg to Lower Earth Orbit (LEO). In May 2024, we successfully completed our maiden launch from our own launchpad (India's first private launchpad). The launch has proven all the new technologies developed by Agnikul and also earned recognition from Honourable Prime Minister of India.
We are looking for 3D Modellers who can translate conceptual designs into high-fidelity, manufacturing-ready 3D CAD models for vehicle subsystems.
The role involves working closely with structural, propulsion, and avionics teams on geometric modelling, spatial integration, clash detection, mass-property tracking, and production-level 2D drawings and GD&T for the Agnibaan launch vehicle.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Model moderately complex machined, sheet metal, and composite parts.
- Create sub-assemblies and ensure proper digital mating and kinematic checks.
- Apply appropriate GD&T to 2D drawings for vendor manufacturing.
- Perform basic mass roll-ups and weight tracking for assigned subsystems.
